Plant alignment and scanning

Plant Alignment and scanning are carried out primarily in order to ensure adaptation between physical installations and virtual models. This can be done in order to visualise the current status of the plant, as a baseline for new installation or conversion or to verify physical installation in relation to the 3D model. It is important that all types of measurement and setup of operations use the master network as a connection between the virtual plant in the computer and layouts and the virtual factory on the shop floor.

The video demonstrates how plant alignment and scanning can be utilised.
